 This generation is great these kids so full of promise and kind not knowing all the struggles we faced at their age . As I watch them I am so happy I was able to give my son alife he can embrace and wake up everyday with a sense of purpose and happiness 

 3 years from now, some of you will look back & admit that you spent an entire year of your life wearing a mask, cooped up in your house & avoiding all the people you love. 😭 A year in your life that you’ll never get back. Every single day is a risk.  Car accident, flu, etc. Our days were numbered from the moment we took our first breath. Life isn’t a race where we win against the inevitable! That has not changed since the beginning of time! BUT, we should not be forced to live in fear.  We went from being a free nation to being told we:  🚫 couldn’t go to school 🚫 couldn’t go to church 🚫 couldn’t go to our grandma's house 🚫 couldn’t pay respects to a loved one through a funeral 🚫 couldn’t leave our homes ...and when we were allowed to do these things, we were told:  📢  how long we could be there 📢  how far apart we have to be 📢  which direction to walk 📢  what to wear 📢  what we can buy/not buy 📢  where we could ...

 This is the first year I did not spend Valentine's with a boyfriend/husband Significant other. True to form I worked dressed up ate heart shaped candy and had a date. My date was with a best friend and her two adorable children . I felt sad at first when I was at the store on valentine's eve and saw all the guys buying flowers and stuffed animals , but I have had 44 years of flowers romance and I love yous.  I wish the same men that pledge to love me forever , were genuine and the reminders of how swept off my feet is overshadowed by the way they turned out to be manipulative and selfish and not at all Prince Charming. But I don't even think it's their fault they can't love me the way I deserve with actions that mean more than 1000 Valentine's gifts and cards. My advice to any Man who  wants to give his one , The one the best gift , Speak passion into her listen to her respect her make time for her . Women are simple we want to love and be loved.  My Son's were introduced to Judo 6 years ago It gave them dispine,confidence, strength of character. And A Family forever. They are older now and don't have time to go but the wonderful thing about Martial Arts .It's something you can always go to to start and recenter yourself. As a single parent it was hard working 8-10 hours driving home and then driving to get them driving an hour to take them to judo and waiting 2 hours and driving a hour home three times a week but we did for 4-5 years . All sports and activities take dedication on the family as a whole and to me that is the best part of parenting. I may not be able to provided my kids with the best clothes or material things but my time in their health happiness and growth ..I can give them.

 It's very easy to listen to other people The human condition we always think maybe I'm wrong. I have been in a relationship with the love of my life for about 11 years now when we first met it was beautiful it was exciting I felt like he knew me he saw my flaws he accepted me and I have finally found the place my heart could be safe. Happy Wednesday If your getting in your car be thankful you have a car be thankful that you have gas to put in that car be thankful that the car doesn't have blaring lights signaling something needs maintenance be thankful that your car will get you to your job so for the first time since I've gotten my license I do not have a running car .Let let me say that again I do have a car I am not able to drive it on the road I lost my reliable vehicle about 3 weeks ago. I live in a part of the country where there is no such thing as public transportation well correction public transportation is your feet, your two feet . I remember when I was younger 21 to 23 I lived in Arlington Virginia which has public transportation I also rode my bike to work and walked. In 2002 I moved to a remote part of Virginia called Moneta. The only reason that I got my license was because in order to get around in Moneta you have to drive.
