Happy Hump Day

Happy Wednesday

If your getting in your car be thankful you have a car be thankful that you have gas to put in that car be thankful that the car doesn't have blaring lights signaling something needs maintenance be thankful that your car will get you to your job so for the first time since I've gotten my license I do not have a running car .Let let me say that again I do have a car I am not able to drive it on the road I lost my reliable vehicle about 3 weeks ago. I live in a part of the country where there is no such thing as public transportation well correction public transportation is your feet, your two feet . I remember when I was younger 21 to 23 I lived in Arlington Virginia which has public transportation I also rode my bike to work and walked. In 2002 I moved to a remote part of Virginia called Moneta. The only reason that I got my license was because in order to get around in Moneta you have to drive. I have been lucky enough to have wonderful friends who give me rides and while I give them gas money I still feel like a burden. But of all the problems to have in this life this is a very very small one and once I get through this time. I will always make sure I have a reliable vehicle. For those of you that are driving around and your car you feel is on its last legs and that light is showing up on the dashboard and you know the car feels different don't hold off fix your car get that oil change do whatever it takes to keep that sucker running.
